  Better than countdown tikipunga but, on Xmas eve 2017 I had the worst experience ever. Doing a last minute shop. Was so busy even in the self service checkout. I used the checkout closest to the staff attendant when we were packing our groceries the plastic bags kept falling off so my son just shoved the whole lot in with our shopping.
  The attendant came over & grabbed the plastic bags out of our shopping and said I was stealing. She then went through the rest of our shopping bags to see if we had stolen anything else. When she found there was nothing she rudely said well hurry up come on
  I asked her how can I be stealing? Since when has countdown started charging for plastic shopping bags that we use to pack our items?
  She knew she was wrong. Then she said, " well you took too much ".
  I replied, "how much is too much" Then the floor Manger comes over and asks me" what's wrong?" I started to explain what had happened & then a customer thought he'd tell me to grow up and get over it. I told that customers to mind his own business. He said get stuffed. I said it back & the floor manager on duty yells at me & tells me to "GO ON JUST GET OUT. That was the worst experience for me and my family. The day before Xmas. I'm still brassed off.
  Countdown Regent is crappie.

  Store is nicely laid out and easy to find things. Very helpful having an easily accessible public toilet. Unfortunately I have stopped going here in favour of Countdown Okara. I often like to shop early Saturday morning after the growers market, but they don't open until 8am and when I arrive and I can never get all the items on my shopping list. Okara on the other hand opens at 7am and nearly always has everything I need. Sadly, the staff not nearly as friendly or as helpful as Okara.
